Sony LMP-F272 Projector Lamp Assembly

Here is a projector lamp under the Sony brand name, model LMP-F272, that is used for projector models such as the VPL-FX35 and VPL-FH30 of the 2009-2010 era. Despite the age of these projectors, they actually are still being sold today for around 3K. They only have an XGA native resolution, but can be bumped up to play 1080P content in what are otherwise a couple of high quality and feature filled projectors from the Sony brand.

The projector lamp used for the VPL-FX35 and VPL-FH30, uses a high powered 275W Ushio manufactured brand bulb encased in what looks like a complicated type housing. For just using one lamp, the LMP-F272 outputs an extreme 5000 lumens of maximum brightness under its VPL-FX35 model. The lamp has a healthy maximum lamp hour life of 3000-4000 hours. This particular lamp has also performed well for us in that we have not received one return so far.
