Warranty Disclaimer All replacement lamps purchased from Video Technics come with a 90 day warranty. If a lamp fails within the 90 days after your purchase simply return it to us in the manufacturer's box and preferably in the original packaging box, and you will recieve either a refund minus shipping costs, or an exchange. After the 90 days from purchase there is no available refund or exchange. For any other reasons other than manufacturer defects - For example: ordering the wrong part number or if the part is no longer needed, you must inform us within 15 days after the delivery date for an exchange or refund to be given. All refunds given for returns other than manufacturer defects will incur a 20% restocking fee (including ballasts). Some of the replacement lamps purchased from Video Technics also come with an extra manufacturer warranty of 180 days. In this case if the lamp fails within 90-180 days of use you must return the lamp to us first so we can request a defective status from the manufacturer through our supplier, for a refund or exchange to be given. Do not attempt to return the lamp to the manufacturer directly as they will most likely not return the lamp to you or have any records of your purchase from us. For your convenience it is best to make sure that your television has gone bad due to a lamp issue. Most televisions equipped with lamp units show you a lamp light on the front console that will be on when it is time for a replacement. Eventually upon replacing it will become visible that your lamp is no longer in working condition. Under extreme circumstances it is possible for a lamp to blow shortly after replacing your television with a new one, due to another internal problem with the television, most commonly a driver issue or a fan malfunction. These problems may also occur after some time. In this case have your nearest television technician take a look to repair any malfunctions not associated with the lamp unit. For light engines offered on this site, the warranty period is for 180 days for manufacturer defects. If a light engine is returned for any reasons other than manufacturer defects, a 20% restocking fee will apply. For projector lamps offered on this site that must be ordered from the manufacturer, a special 10% fee may be assessed if an order is cancelled after the item has shipped from the manufacturer. Whether you are charged this fee will depend on our dealings with the manufacturer, although most of the times there is no fee assessed. Please allow a maximum of 9 business days for delivery of projector lamps if you choose the default Free UPS ground shipping option.

Miscellaneous There has been confusion of the originality of replacement lamps being offered by many websites. Many websites claim their replacement lamps are OEM but in fact they are OEM compatible, meaning they are compatible and “NOT” the factory original lamp. TVLampsforless is an authorized service center for most of our lamp brands being offered meaning we purchase directly from the manufacturer. It is important to note that all brand name replacement lamps contain bulbs that are manufactured by only 3 companies – Philips, Osram, and Toshiba. If the bulb from a replacement lamp contains any other name, they are most likely not factory original. As long as the bulb manufacturer is any of the 3 brands previously named, they will last as long as factory originals that came installed in your set upon purchase. Television brands such as Sony, Samsung, Toshiba, and many more, simply use the Philips, Toshiba, or Osram bulbs in a unique plastic housing made by them specifically to fit in their TV models. In some cases it may be possible that your original bulb may not contain a brand name, as this is a method for the TV manufacturer to force you to purchase a complete lamp from them, a more expensive option than purchasing only the bulb like the ones offered on this site. TVLampsforless only offers factory original replacement lamps and plain bulbs to the public because we are committed to providing customers with only lamps that were made with the highest quality and performance that they demand. There is also the misconception of quality between the 2 most popular bulb manufacturer's which are Philips and Osram. No matter what other websites state in terms of Philips being of greater quality than Osram or vice versa, there is no evidence whatsover that proves any brand performs better than the other. From the many years of experience here at Video Technics, we can say that Osram and Philips have performed at the same level.
